Google Pixel 7 Pro renders revealed, with many similarities to the Pixel 6 Pro's design
The tech leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, known on Twitter as OnLeaks, has revealed Google Pixel 7 Pro renders in partnership with Smartprix. While some technical details for the phone have already been leaked, this is our first look at the design.
There are many similarities between the Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices. For example, the rear of the gadget has a dual-tone design with a camera bump running across it near the top. The difference here is that the raised area on the Pixel 7 Pro appears to wrap further around the phone to merge with the frame.
The Pixel 7 Pro will have a 6.7-6.8-inch (170-173 mm) curved display with a high refresh OLED panel and a front-facing hole-punch camera. On the back are three more cameras; Smartprix speculates that these are a periscope telephoto camera plus wide and ultra-wide angle cameras. The camera sensors and a microphone are also included on the rear camera bump.
The render shows that Pixel 7 Pro measures 6.4 x 3.0 x 0.3-in (163 x 76.6 x 8.7 mm); it is 1.1-in (11.2 mm) thick if you include the camera bump. For comparison, the Pixel 6 Pro is slightly shorter and thicker, measuring 6.5 x 3.0 x 0.4-in (163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm).
The bottom of the device houses dual stereo speakers and a USB Type-C charging port. Along the left side of the gadget are power and volume buttons, plus the SIM card tray. Antenna bands are included on each of the four sides of the phone.
This leak arrives just a few months after the launch of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices, which have been suffering with performance issues.
