Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro showcased in hands-on photos
Google will finally unveil the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro today after months of teasers. However, the company has been unable to keep its new smartphones a secret, with some people getting their hands on devices early. Retailers have leaked the pair several times too, with listings confirming almost all specifications, prices and even pre-order gifts.
Now, @_snoopytech_ and others have revealed hands-on photos with both devices, which we have embedded below. Supposedly, the photos come from someone who accidentally broke Google's embargo and have been circulated across Twitter. It is unclear who initially published them, though.
Regardless, the photos highlight how thick the Pixel 6's bezels are relative to those on the Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 6 also has a rather thick chin, especially for a modern flagship. In saying that, the device's flat display may appeal to many people over the Pixel 6 Pro's curved panel, even with the lower screen-to-body ratio. Ultimately, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 should offer similar experiences, with the pair featuring the same primary cameras, SoC and identical version of Android.
You can watch the Pixel Fall Launch event on YouTube. The event commences at 17:00 UTC and is available to watch worldwide.
