Blockchain.com, a crypto wallet is offering fee-free send transactions for Wildfire Relief Fund 2025. Crypto currency is now being used to help those in need from the California wildfires.

CNN is reporting that the Los Angeles wildfires are still burning, yet clean up and remediation has begun. While the world looks on and sees the number of movie stars and billionaires who have lost their homes, there is an untold working class in those neighbourhoods as well. Not just in Pacific Palisades, but in Altadena, Passadena and Hollywood. They have lost their homes, lost their jobs or income and are now dependent upon governmental assistance. Rough in the best of times!

Blockchain.com is offering its clients fee-free transactions to donate Bitcoin or other popular crypto currency to Gofundme.org for its Wildfire Relief Fund 2025. As of this writing, the amount raised is nearing $4 million. However, AccuWeather, a meteorology company that also gives data on its impact, estimates that the economic and property damage runs into the $250-275 billion range.

When donating to charities, do not forget to check with your service provider or wallet if they offer fee-free services. Also, check with local, state and federal regulations about tax deductible benefits.
