Samsung is just a day away from announcing the Galaxy Note 20 series, which will feature the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. However, the company also has another edition of the S20 series planned. As we have previously reported, the device in question is the S20 Fan Edition, which Samsung will probably shorten to the S20 FE.
Until now, details about the S20 FE have been constrained to specifications, with its design remaining up for debate. Evan Blass has changed with his latest post on the @evleaks Patreon page, though. The post, which is titled "Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, only contains one image, which we have included below. However, Blass has also posted the branding of the S20 FE on Twitter.
The front of the S20 FE looks more like the S10 Lite or Note 10 Lite than it does the S20 or S20 Plus. According to Ice Universe, the S20 FE will have a 120 Hz-capable display with a 3.3 mm hole for its front-facing camera. The latter is expected to be a 32 MP sensor, which Samsung will complement with three rear-facing sensors. The design of the back of the S20 FE remains unknown for the time being, though.
Additionally, Samsung has apparently chosen to equip the S20 FE with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, or at least the SM-G781 model anyway. According to Blass, the device will feature 5G connectivity, which would fit with it having a Snapdragon 865. The S20 FE is expected to arrive after the Note 20 series, specifically in October.
