Epic Games is finishing up the month with single game giveaways across its PC and mobile free game platforms. For reference, the storefront has updated the former with a game compared to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, full details of which we have covered separately. Now, it has replaced last week's mobile giveaway too, which was another release from the Doodle God universe.
This time, Epic Games has pivoted to Cultist Simulator, which it is offering across Android and iOS. Described as a roguelike narrative card game by developers Weather Factory, Cultist Simulator puts you straight into the action by omitting a tutorial altogether. The game is said to punish ignorance too, which could prove to be a steep learning curve for some gamers.
Set in the 1920s, Cultist Simulator features what Weather Factory claims is a 'hefty novel's worth of choice-based storytelling'. As a result, the game has earned 4.7/5 and 4.8/5 star ratings across the Google Play and Apple App stores, respectively. Cultist Simulator will be free to add to your Epic Games library on Android and iOS with the same geographical restrictions applied on the latter platform. As always, you can download this week's free game through the Epic Games mobile app or this instant checkout link when logged into an Epic Games account on a browser.
