Dynabook has created a laptop worth the attention of every lady and gentleman out there. It is really classy and absurdly light. Its magnesium chassis is the main reason for its fantastic portability – it weighs only 904 grams (according to Dynabook). Well, the Alder Lake P-series CPUs won’t perform up to the standard, but short bursts of high clocks can be expected. On the bright side, the battery life is stellar – we got 16 hours and 30 minutes of Web browsing, or 12 hours of video playback on a single charge. Dynabook Portege X30L-K’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, high maximum brightness, a very good contrast ratio, and comfortable viewing angles. It uses PWM but only up to 140 nits, and with a very high frequency, which makes the display rather comfortable for long use. Even the port selection is amazing – there are two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, two USB Type-A 3.2 (Gen. 2) ports, a MicroSD card slot, a SIM card tray, a Smart card reader, an HDMI connector, and even a LAN port! On a 13-inch business laptop! That weighs 904 grams. What?! Make yourself a favor and consider the Dynabook Portege X30L-K for your next premium business notebook. Yes, it has some downsides, but you got to go for its feature-packed hipster vibe.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

i7-1260P: An upper mid-range Alder Lake family CPU featuring 4 performance cores and 8 efficient cores. This 28 W SoC is designed for use in ultra-light (yet actively cooled) laptops. Core i7-1260P's performance cores are Hyper-Threading-enabled for a total of 16 threads. This 12th Gen CPU runs at 1.5 GHz to 4.7 GHz and supports "Essentials" tier vPro features. Last but not the least, Core i7-1260P has a built-in 96 EU Iris Xe GPU, not unlike certain 11th Gen Tiger Lake-UP3 processors.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
