The high-end device will carry a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4 GB RAM, and a 5-inch 2K display

Doogee is more well-known for its mainstream and budget devices, but the company is just as capable at producing flagship smartphones, too.

The Doogee F3 is a 5-inch device with a 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution Gorilla Glass 3 display and Snapdragon 810 SoC. It will also be one of the few smartphones to ship with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM as standard. The Asus Zenfone 2 is one of the first smartphones to have 4 GB RAM, though configurations exist with less RAM for lower prices. Other specifications include a 21 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera and a 3100 mAh battery pack. Its customized OS will be based on Android 5.1.

So far, only one configuration is confirmed with 32 GB of internal storage. Whether or not other capacities will be available or if the model will even have MicroSD support are not detailed.

Doogee is planning to launch the F3 worldwide by October at the earliest for a starting price of $349 USD

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
