DeskOne A1: Compact workstation PC arrives with 24-core Intel CPU and up to 256 GB RAM

Topfeel makes a bunch of well-equipped mini PCs and compact PCs. Spotted by ITHome, the brand has now announced a new compact workstation in China, equipped with a powerful 24-core Intel CPU and plenty of RAM. 

Dubbed the DeskOne A1, the latest offering happens to be an addition to the DeskOne family, which also consists of AMD-based W1 compact 5-liter PC we have covered earlier.

The new DeskOne A1 is powered by a powerful Intel CPU usually found in high-end gaming notebooks and mini PCs. Specifically, the compact workstation PC rocks the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX "Arrow Lake" CPU with 24 cores and 24 threads. 

The CPU promises multicore performance that is in the same league as a 16-core Apple M4 Max and just a few percentage points ahead of an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX according to our database.

Of course, real-world performance will depend heavily on how potent of a cooling solution Topfeel has designed for the DeskOne A1 compact PC. At any rate, it's obvious that the vast majority of CPU-heavy workloads should absolutely fly on the system.

The I/O on offer has been detailed below:

• 7x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
• 10G Ethernet, 2.5G Ethernet
• Dual Thunderbolt 4, dual Thunderbolt 5.
• HDMI 2.1
• COM port

A total of four DDR5 slots are present, which support a maximum of 256 GB of DDR5-7200 RAM. Two PCIe Gen5 slots are also present for expansion, one of the x16 flavor and the other of the x8 flavor. 

Storage, on the other hand, is handled by one M.2 PCIe Gen5 x4 slot, dual M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 slots, as well as dual SFF-8654 4i slots.

As for dimensions, the DeskOne A1 workstation measures in at 370 x 195 x 290 mm or roughly 14.5 x 7.7 x 11.4 inches. At just under 21 liters, the A1 workstation is quite compact given its capabilities.

The workstation is expected to be available for pre-order in China on the 20th of October. Exact pricing details are unclear as of this writing, although the A1 compact PC is almost certain to command a hefty price tag.

Topfeel does like to bring some of its products to the international market, but whether or not the DeskOne A1 receives the same treatment remains to be seen.
