We know it supports "up to" Intel's i7 vPro processors, but it remains schtum about which ones. Similarly, the manufacturer says it can support up to 1TB of M.2 NVMe storage and 16GB of RAM, but hasn't disclosed what particular configurations will be available.

Provided you get our Gaming and Web design profile, you will receive high color accuracy, matching the sRGB standard. There are a few things we have to say. Firstly, we can’t believe this is the second year in a row, where the most premium business laptop from Dell can’t offer the best out of its processor. Indeed, it is much better than the 1.25 GHz sustained on the older device, but clearly, the cooling has the potential, and the manufacturer is not using it. At the end of the day, this laptop is not bad. Especially with all of Dell’s security software included. However, there are some areas that were not fixed from last year. Some of them may be resolved with a simple BIOS update, while others need more attention in the R&D department. Regardless, the Latitude 15 9520 comes at a premium, that not many people will find reasonable.

Dell offers laptops that are suitable for various applications, such as business laptops, gaming laptops, ultra portables and workstations. Dell's business laptops from the Latitude and Precision series are an option for professional users and businesses.

For gaming enthusiasts, Dell's Alienware brand is for gaming notebooks.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

The CPU cores can clock between 1.1 and 4.9 GHz with HyperThreading (12 threads). The integrated memory controller supports DDR4-2666 and using cTDP up/down the performance can be adjusted by the OEM (12.5 - 25 Watt possible, 15W default). The CPU supports vPro (as a difference to the i7-10710U).

Compared to the faster i5-10510U, the level 3 cache was reduced from 8 to 6 MB. The CPU supports the professional management features under the vPro umbrella.

Intel Tiger Lake:

i7-1185G7: Tiger Lake based low power quad-core processor for thin and light laptops. The four cores clock around 3 - 4.8 GHz. Produced on the second-gen 10 nm Intel process.

i5-1145G7: Tiger Lake based low power quad-core processor for thin and light laptops. Produced in 10nm+ at Intel.
