Compact Twelve South charger launches with retractable cable and 65W fast charging

The Cablesnap 65W is a new addition to the portfolio of Twelve South, and the main highlight is the built-in retractable Type-C cable. This integrated wire is 29 inches long (75cm), and this makes the fast charger a good pick as travel gear.

In addition to the built-in cable, there's one USB-A and one USB-C port, making the charger capable of powering up three devices at the same time. Twelve South hasn't, however, properly specified the power output ratings in different configurations. However, the adapter has 65W fast charging support.

Of course, the company did mention the USB-A port maxing out at 18W, and it's likely that the USB-C port and the Type-C cable max out at 65W. There's no detailed description of the supported protocols either, but the company notes that the charger is compatible with laptops, phones, and accessories.

Another highlight of the Cablesnap 65W is that it comes with the EU Type-C and UK Type-G outlet adapters, another plus for those who might want to use it as a travel charger. Other highlights include a compact overall form factor, three color options, and a foldable plug.

The Cablesnap 65W is available on the official Twelve South website and on Amazon, and it has a retail price of $49.99. Check out the pictures attached below to learn more about the charger.
