Deal | Citizen Terra Force light-powered watch hits lowest-ever prices in North America

Citizen’s Terra Force AW1767-07A has fallen to $212.35 at Amazon USA and to CA$249.99 (approx. $179) at Best Buy Canada, making these the lowest prices recorded for the light-powered field watch. The deal puts the model substantially below the retail prices of models from the Terra Force family, ranging from $280-$350, making it an interesting option for anyone seeking a traditional analogue timepiece without the inconvenience of regular battery replacements.
The watch features a 43mm silver-tone stainless-steel case with a silver-white dial and a gray nylon strap. A black 60-minute unidirectional bezel surrounds the dial, giving the watch a sporty, casual appearance. Large, luminous hourly markers in the form of a single number (12), triangles and small circles prioritize legibility, while a date window is positioned at three o'clock.
Power comes from Citizen's J810 Eco-Drive movement, which converts natural or artificial light into energy stored in a rechargeable cell. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, a rating suitable for swimming and snorkelling, but it is not a dedicated diving watch. The mineral crystal glass display may be a compromise for some: it is designed to resist impacts, but is more vulnerable to scratches than sapphire.
The Terra Force AW1767-07A is primarily aimed at buyers who appreciate a clean, functional design and straightforward timekeeping. The movement carries a five-year warranty, or six with registration. At $212.35 or CA$249.99, the record-low prices offer decent value for money, provided its mineral crystal display isn't a deal-breaker. Canadian buyers should note that the Best Buy deal ends on November 5, while no end date is given for the Amazon deal.
