Blackberry 10 OS coming to Playbook?

Teaser
The BlackBerry 10 operating system might be updates on the RIM tablets however may not be available for the old Smartphones

The next generation operating system from Research in Motion, the Blackberry 10, is expected to be able to run on both phones and tablets. However, it seems like to use this new operating system you might need to buy a new handset. As for now no updates were planned for the Blackberry 7 devices.

But it has also been confirmed that the tablet users will be able to change their Operating System or will be able to move to the latest platform the BB10. They will not need to buy a new hardware as it is in case of Smartphones. The Developers team of BlackBerry has confirmed that BB10 will be available for the BlackBerry PlayBook 7 inch tablet.

It is also believed that there may be even some updates for the Smartphones but it will be only after the release of the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone. This first model is expected to arrive to the market by this fall.

However, there will be a number of features added to the RIM’s phones and tablets, including an improved on screen keyboard and even a cascading user interface for navigation from application to application or even switching between them.

So we may expect all these new devices from RIM in a few months time. With this we can also expect a few more months to see the BlackBerry 10 on the PlayBook Tablets.
