The BIRDSTRIPE B3 Thunderbolt 3 HUB is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. According to the product page, the 14-in-1 device can transfer at up to 40 Gbps via three Thunderbolt 3 ports. A DisplayPort 1.4 enables you to connect to screens with 8K @ 60 Hz or 4K @ 120 Hz resolutions. Plus, the gadget has two M.2 2280 SSD ports for up to 8 TB storage.

On top of the B3 HUB are three wireless charging pads, enabling you to power smaller gadgets at up to 15 W. For faster charging, you can connect your device to the 60 W PD USBC 3.2 Gen 2 ports, which can transfer at 10 Gbps. Other ports include a 3.5 mm audio jack with a microphone, 2.5 GB Ethernet and 24 V DC for the power cable. A built-in turbo fan helps to keep the system cool, with an operating temperature from -15 to 55 °C (~5 to 131 °F).

The gadget has an aluminum alloy case, weighs 0.7 lbs (320 g) and measures 7.08 x 3.62 x 0.98-in (~180 x 92 x 30 mm). You can currently receive the BIRDSTRIPE B3 Thunderbolt 3 HUB when you pledge HK$1,249 (~US$159) to the crowdfunding campaign; the company claims this is a 35% discount off the MSRP. Deliveries are estimated for this May, with BIRDSTRIPE shipping the product globally.

Update: Intel has stated that the BIRDSTRIPE B3 Thunderbolt 3 HUB violates copyright law and has not received Thunderbolt certification from the company.
