Teaser
Asus hints at the next Eee Pad Transformer and promises that it will be even more impressive than the current best-seller

Unless you have been living under the rocks for most of this year, you know the success story of the unique Asus Eee Pad Transformer. Asus’ first tablet has recently become the second most selling tablet ever only after the iPad. It is still selling like hot cake and already we have hints that the next-gen Transformer could be here soon – to increase our confusion about which tablet to buy after all!

Asus hinted about a new Transformer way back in January during the CES, but not many details were given then. There are rumors that the next Transformer could feature double the power than the current one in form of a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, at least the same high-res 10.1″ 1280 x 800 IPS display panel and surprise surprise – Windows 8! Or at the least we could be looking at one such option apart from the Android version. There could also be Android 3.2 or even 3.3 which is unnamed still.

The 10.1” Tegra 2 powered Eee Pad Transformer has already sold in excess of 400,000 units in June – far exceeding the expected figure.
