Asus officially unveiled the ZenWatch 3 earlier this year, and now this Android Wear-driven smartwatch is finally available for purchase. The good news is that this smart wearable was originally scheduled to hit the market in early November, but online sales began yesterday already. However, shipments are expected to begin in a few weeks.
This round smartwatch is the first ZenWatch to use this shape but is also the first Android Wear smartwatch to feature a touchscreen display and three physical buttons on the side. Its specs include the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, and a 340 mAh battery that provides one day of autonomy.
While the price mentioned earlier this year by various sources was around $255 USD, the ZenWatch 3 is now available for $229 USD. B&H Photo only offers the dark brown leather band variant for purchase at this time, while the official Asus web store currently shows that the smartwatch is temporarily out of stock.
