The budget segment in the laptop world is largely unchanged apart from some year-on-year iterations. However, the Vivobook Go has definitely got the design and performance chops to become one of the best sub-Rs 50,000 offerings in the market. AMD’s latest processor, a sturdy design, and a highly portable form factor, all add to the Vivobook Go’s appeal. Of course, there are a few things that could have made it better, such as the inclusion of keyboard backlighting and the removal of the numpad from the trackpad. Even so, the Vivobook Go, as an overall package, is designed as a reliable workhorse for an audience that does not want to shell out a premium.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a major Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer based in Taipei, founded in 1989. Under the Asus brand name, the company manufactures a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, smartphones and networking equipment, complete systems and PC components for end users.
Under the ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand name, ASUS manufactures gaming laptops known by gamers for their powerful specifications, dedicated graphics cards, high refresh rate displays and advanced cooling systems.
Beyond gaming, a wide range of notebooks are offered for different needs and budgets, from ultra-slim and lightweight ultrabooks to versatile 2-in-1 convertibles and budget-friendly options. In 2023, Asus had a 7% global market share of the PC market.
Customer satisfaction with ASUS notebooks concerns performance, the features, and the good price-performance ratio of ASUS notebooks. However, as with any brand, there are occasional reports of problems such as overheating, driver compatibility, or build quality issues.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel UHD Graphics (Jasper Lake 16 EU): Integrated graphics card in Intel Jasper Lake Celeron entry level models based on the Gen. 11 architecture. Offers 16 of the 32 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 350 MHz base to 800 MHz boost. The Jasper Lake chips are produced in the 10nm process at Intel produced (similar to Ice Lake).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
AMD Radeon 610M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7020 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA2 architecture with 2 CUs (= 128 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 1.9 GHz.

Intel Jasper Lake:
Celeron N4500: Low power dual-core SoC from the Jasper Lake series for inexpensive notebooks. Runs with clocks between 1.1 - 2.8 GHz and integrates a DirectX 12 capable graphics adapter with 16 EUs and up 750 MHz. The CPU cores are smaller and slower than in the Core CPUs (e.g. Ice Lake) but manufactured on the same 10nm process.
AMD Mendocino (Zen 2, Ryzen 7020):
R5 7520U: Mobile Quad-Core APU of the Mendocino series using four older Zen 2 cores clocked at 2.8 to 4.3 GHz with SMT (8 Threads).
R3 7320U: Mobile Quad-Core APU using four Zen 2 cores clocked at 2.4 to 4.1 GHz and SMT (8 threads).

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.

70%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
