The successor of the Transformer Book T100, the 11.6-inch T200, is expected to arrive in May-June and Asus hopes to sell no less than four million units of both convertibles during 2014.

Back in 2013, notebooks and hybrids accounted for 60 percent of Asus' consolidated revenues for the fourth quarter, while tablets came in second place with 17 percent, followed by the 12 percent generated by motherboards and cards. Finally, other devices had a contribution of 11 percent in the company's results for the final quarter of last year.

According to a Digitimes report by Monica Chen and Adam Hwang, the 10-inch Transformer Book T100 notebook/tablet convertible arrived during the fourth quarter and manager to ship no less than 500,000 units so far. The same source mentioned that a successor for the T100 will arrive in May-June and both devices will remain on the market, probably at least until the end of the year. The 11.6-inch Transformer Book T200 will be larger and it would be no surprise to see it offer enhanced specs when compared to the T100, but there is no information about this right now.

The next few months to come will be very crowded for Asus, with the ZenFone smartphone series expected to hit the market in April and a 10 million units goal for the year, two Chromebooks that may arrive as soon as March, 8-inch Nexus 8 expected in May-June and an impressive goal of four million T100 and T200 units to be sold until the end of the year.
