Bread and Butter. Asus' mainstream models are labeled K-series. They are supposed to satisfy the average computer needs. Barely any connections, little performance and an average display? Read if we can recommend the 17 incher at hand.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145: The 5145 is a renamed Mobility Radeon HD 4570 with slightly higher clock rates. Therefore it has no DirectX 11 support and a performance between the 4570 and 5470.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

350M:
The Core i3-350M is technically a Core i5-430M without the Turbo Boost overlocking feature. Therefore, it always clocks with max. 2.26 GHz (of course Speedstep is included). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously. An integrated graphics card (GMA HD) and a DDR3 memory controller are also included in the package.

This large display size is used for laptops which are mainly intended for an use on a desk.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
