Archos 101 Oxygen tablet hits the market in October
Archos will bring a 10.1-inch slate to the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin next month, the 101 Oxygen. It will join the company's lineup of devices "designed to “democratize” technology" and to provide "a balanced blend of performance, design and affordability."
Not all the specs and features of the Archos 101 Oxygen slate are available right now, but this is what the official press release reveals:
- Processor: quad-core ARM Cortex-A17
- Memory/Storage: 1.5 GB RAM; 16 GB of internal storage, probably microSD support as well (not confirmed yet)
- Display: 10.1-inch Full HD with 1,920X1,080 pixels
- Operating system: Android 4.4 KitKat (not confirmed, but considering the hardware this is a logical choice)
The only image of the Archos 101 Oxygen present in the press release also reveals two speakers on the back of the unit and two cameras, one on the back and one in the front. The slate will hit the market in October for a price of $249 USD and more details should be available in less than two weeks at IFA 2014.
In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
