The Archos 101 Neon is a premium feel device with moderate hardware specifications. Nevertheless, they are indeed adequate for most mobile tasks including gaming. The case is slightly curved, coated with soft-touch material and only weighs 690 g. The 10.1 inch display features a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The full-sized tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features a Rockchip RK 3188T quad core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM and a Mali 400 MP4 quad core GPU.
Thanks to MicroSD support, users can add 64 GB to the small internal memory. The Archos 101 Neon's basic 0.3 MP 1080p front camera provides a basic solution for video communication. Sound quality and volume are good with dual speakers. The tablet is Google certified and can access the Play Store with no compatibility issues. The only way to connect to the Internet is by using WiFi as the device has no cellular connection. The Archos's lithium polymer battery has 2 cells and a capacity of 5000 mAh. It ensures an excellent battery life, which fulfills the multimedia tag placed on the device.
