The biggest sales event of the year is coming up in a few days, with eager buyers sure to flock to stores hoping to capitalize on Black Friday, the 29th of November. Of course, Apple isn't one to be left out of the madness and they've sent an advance email alerting customers to a one-day sales event.
The email begins by hyping up "the Friday you've waited for all year", but does little else as far as providing info about the actual discounts. Beginning after midnight Pacific Standard Time (3AM EST), shoppers will have access to all of Apple's special deals as well as the usual store pickup and free shipping on orders over $50.
The folks at Cupertino may have kept a tight lip on details of their Black Friday deals, but based on years past we can guess that the iPad and MacBook lines could be cut by $50 and $100 respectively. And while iPhones usually aren't included in the discounts, low iPhone 5c demand could force Apple's hand and we'll have to keep our eyes and wallets peeled.
