Anker releases new Power Bank 10K with built-in Lightning cable
Anker has launched the Power Bank (10K, Fusion, Built-in Lightning Cable) in the US. Rumors about the device started in May, with details shared on Reddit. An almost identical device with a built-in USB-C cable arrived from Anker earlier this year.
This power bank is described as a 3-in-1 device that works as a power bank or charger and offers an integrated lightning cable. Using the Lightning cable or the USB-C port, you can charge a device at up to 30W; Anker suggests this would provide a 50% charge to an iPhone 14 Pro in 24 minutes. Two devices can be charged simultaneously, though it is unclear how this affects the power output. The accessory also recharges at 30W via USB-C or when plugged into the mains using its foldable pins. The 10,000mAh capacity is said to power a Samsung Galaxy S23 1.84 times or an iPhone 14 Pro twice.
The portable gadget is compact and relatively light at 8.8 oz (~250 g) and currently comes with a black casing, though images suggest more colors could be on the way. You can now buy the Anker Power Bank (10K, Fusion, Built-in Lightning Cable) at Amazon US for $47.99. It remains to be seen whether or when versions of the accessory for other markets, like Europe, could launch.
