Android 5.1.1 Lollipop allegedly coming to Galaxy Note 4 by the end of July
While Google unveiled a developer preview of the next-gen Android version, dubbed Android M for now, during last week's Google I/O event, Samsung still has to update quite a few devices to Android 5.1.1. Since Android M is expected to arrive in Q3 2015, the phone maker may bring most of its recent handsets up to date by then - if not all of them.
SamMobile already revealed the upgraded camera app for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge that will be part of the Android 5.1.1 update. According to their article, Samsung's Android 5.1.1-based firmware for its flagship handsets is currently under beta testing. Obviously, Galaxy Note 4 users are eager to hear more about their upcoming update and there is not much to say about it - only that SamMobile's "highly placed sources" confirmed this update is scheduled for release "by the end of July."
The changes that Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will bring to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have not been confirmed yet, but we should not expect any surprises. We will get back to this Lollipop update as soon as we hear more about it, so stay tuned.
