Among Us animated series cast revealed, Elijah Wood cast as Green
Innersloth, the developer of Among Us, has collaborated with CBS Studios, to produce an animated series based on the popular whodunnit game. Much like the game, the series is set in a spaceship, where the crew has to find the shapeshifting impostor. Now, the cast of this upcoming series has been revealed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elijah Wood, best known for playing Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit, will portray ‘Green’ - an unpaid intern in Among Us. Wood will be joined by Randall Park (Agent Jimmy Woo from WandaVision) who will play Red, Ashley Johnson (Ellie from The Last of Us video games) will be voicing Purple, and Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley Bennett from Community) will step into the shoes of Orange.
Behind the scenes, Owen Dennis, best known for creating Infinity Train, has stepped into the creator role for the Among Us series. Further, Carl Neisser, Forest Willard, and Marcus Bromander from Innersloth and Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Chris Prynoski, and Shannon Prynoski from Titmouse are executive producers.
The Among Us animated series is yet to get a broadcasting outlet, so no information about release date is available at the moment.
Among Us, the video game, is available on mobile, PC, consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S). The game is also available on handheld consoles like Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck (curr. $568 on Amazon), Lenovo Legion Go, Asus ROG Ally, and more.
