Deal | Affordable mini-PC under $300: Bosgame E5 drops to lowest price ever on Amazon

Users on the prowl for a cheap mini-PC now have a sub-$300 option that can serve as a decent backup machine or a media server. The Bosgame E5 is now available on Amazon for just $259.99, making it $140 lower than its asking price of $399.99. CamelCamelCamel’s price tracker confirms it is the cheapest it has ever been, with a previous promotion knocking its price to around $280.
Specs-wise, the Bosgame E5 mini-PC doesn’t offer anything spectacular. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 3 5300U, an aging Zen 3 CPU with four cores/eight threads and a Vega 6 iGPU. Memory and storage are fixed at 16 GB (DDR4-3200) and 1 TB (PCIe Gen3), respectively. Thankfully, both components are user-upgradable. However, any memory/storage upgrade will likely cost more than the mini-PC itself, especially in this memory-starved market.
Other specs of the Bosgame E5 include four USB Type-A ports (1x USB 2.0 plus 3x USB 3.2), one USB Type-C port, two 1 Gbps Ethernet ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, one DP port and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. It can output 4K video to up to three displays simultaneously. Lastly, wireless connectivity options are limited to Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
