The new Acer Aspire One 722 is now up for pre-order on Amazon for $329.99. You have an option of getting it in black or blue – both with same specifications. Although this might not be the most powerful netbook out there, Acer tried to squeeze in some uniqueness in both design as well as performance dept. The exterior features a glossy water ripple design where the “o” of one is depicted as the creator of the ripple. It might be just a design, so you might not be able to actually feel the contours.
The 722 is powered by an AMD C-50 dual-core processor with a clock rate of 1GHz and an energy consumption of only 9W. The C-50 is accompanied by an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics chip with 256MB of memory. There are 2GB of DDR3 memory and a 250GB HDD. The 722 comes pre-loaded with A 6-cell 4400mAh battery and Windows 7 Premium.
