The 65-inch TCL QM7 4K Mini LED TV with a 144 Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync/AMD FreeSync VRR support, and up to 2,400 nits of brightness can now be yours for less than $700. The TV enjoys a high consumer rating of 4.7 stars at Best Buy and an equally impressive 8.1 "Mixed Usage" rating from RTINGS.

We reported earlier this month that the 55-inch TCL QM7 Mini LED TV could be yours for less than $460. While the offer was rather compelling, as the TCL QM7 is an excellent mid-range TV, the 55-inch screen size could be small for some people. For folks who were waiting for a bigger variant to go on sale, the 65-inch TCL QM7 is now enjoying big discounts on both Amazon and Best Buy.

On Amazon, the TCL QM7 now retails for only $697.99, the lowest rate ever for the TV per camelcamelcamel. Best Buy’s offer costs $2 more with a final TCL QM7 price of $699.99. Both prices are pretty good as they include free shipping from the respective retailers (linked below).

TCL QM7 is a highly rated 4K Mini LED TV

The TCL QM7 is a mid-range TV that provides a pretty good viewing experience, especially when it comes to HDR and gaming. Per RTINGS’ measurement the TCL QM7 handles HDR content superbly thanks to its rich contrast of 66,900:1 (Local Dimming enabled), 1,315 nits of Peak 2% Window brightness, and 97.34% coverage of DCI-P3 color gamut. This high brightness is also reflected in SDR where the TV boasts a Peak 2% Window brightness of more than 1,200 nits.

Aside from HDR, the TCL QM7 also does a good job of smoothing out low-quality content and upscaling low-res media. This is made possible thanks to the company’s in-house AIPQ PRO processor.

That said, the TCL QM7 suffers from limited viewing angles. So, while the picture quality of the TV is pretty good, the TV isn’t suitable for use in situations where good viewing angles are a must.

The TCL QM7 will also serve gamers quite well courtesy of the VA panel’s low response time, 144 Hz @ 4K output, and low input lag. The TV also supports both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync. It is also fully compatible with both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.

All in all, the TCL QM7 manages to be a commendable Mini LED TV that doesn’t break the bank. For a price of just $700, the 65-inch TCL QM7 is a pretty sweet deal.
