The Samsung HW-QS730D is a mid-range Dolby Atmos soundbar featuring a 3.1.2-channel configuration and a powerful 8-inch subwoofer. Thanks to an ongoing sale at Woot, you can grab it for just $388!

Samsung offers a wide selection of premium soundbars catering to different budgets and needs. While the HW-Q990D and HW-Q930D are the best soundbars the company has to offer, they cost a pretty penny. If you don’t want to go all-out on an expensive sound system but still want something that sounds great and has Dolby Atmos support, the HW-QS730D is an excellent choice. And right now, it’s an even better deal. Thanks to an ongoing sale at Woot, you can snag it at a massive 53% discount.

The Samsung HW-QS730D is currently down to just $388 at Woot, an incredible $412 discount from its regular $800 price. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for this soundbar and undercuts both Best Buy and Samsung.com, where it’s currently selling for $650.

A great mid-range soundbar

The Samsung HW-QS730D comes with a soundbar and an 8-inch subwoofer. The setup comprises 9 drivers arranged in a 3.1.2 channel configuration—3 primary forward-firing channels, 1 dedicated bass channel for subwoofer, and 2 up-firing height channels for Dolby Atmos spatial sound. Unlike the HW-Q990 and HW-930D, there are no rear speakers, so do miss out on the true surround sound experience. That said, it’s still a huge upgrade over your TV’s integrated speakers. Not to mention you can always add the compatible Samsung SWA-9500S wireless rear speakers ($300 at Best Buy) later on to round out your setup.

All the important audio formats are supported, including Dolby Atmos for object-based spatial sound, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-X, and DTS-HD. Support for Wireless Dolby Atmos is also there if you want to skip HDMI cables altogether. Connectivity options are also pretty robust, encompassing HDMI input and output with eARC support, an optical digital audio input, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Hi-Fi Connect. Other notable features include Q-Symphony, which lets you use your Samsung TV’s in-built speakers along with the soundbar for a more expansive soundstage; SpaceFit Sound Pro which uses the microphone on the soundbar to analyze your room’s acoustics and calibrates the sound accordingly, and support for the SmartThings companion app for accessing more advanced features and settings.
