ZTE is expanding its smartphone lineup with several new devices this month. At MWC 2025, the company has unveiled the Nubia Neo 3 5G and Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G, which are supposedly priced at budget-friendly €249 and €299, respectively.
The global launch is scheduled for the end of March, but exact release dates for individual markets are not available yet. There are some technical differences between these two gaming smartphones, as the ZTE Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G is powered by the Unisoc T9100 and 12GB RAM, while the base model Nubia Neo 3 5G sports the slower Unisoc T8300 with 8GB of memory.
Furthermore, the ZTE Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G features a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. The cheaper sister model has an LCD screen with up to 1,000 nits, but the screen diagonal and the refresh rate of 120Hz are both identical.
Regardless of the model variant, prospective buyers can look forward to capacitive triggers and a gaming design with rather striking RGB lighting. Linear motors are supposed to provide haptic feedback. Both ZTE phones have a battery capacity of 6,000mAh, but the Nubia Neo 3 GT 5G can charge with up to 80 watts, while the non-GT version maxes out at 33 watts.
