Xiaomi refreshes Smart Band 10 with new Glimmer Edition global release

Xiaomi has refreshed the Smart Band 10 globally following its debut in June outside China. Initially, Xiaomi decided to offer its latest fitness tracker globally with a choice between several silicon watch bands (curr. $62.99 on Amazon). While the company has addressed that with today's launch, the new model still lacks NFC connectivity for contactless payments that is available in China.

As we discussed at the time, the Smart Band 10 combines a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a 233 mAh battery rated for up to 21 hours of battery life between charges. For reference, the long display resolves at 212 x 520 pixels with a 326 PPI, 1,500 nits HBM brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 2.5D curved glass finish.

Likewise, the Smart Band 10 includes over 150 sports modes with Bluetooth 5.4 support, 5 ATM water resistance and an optical heart rate sensor. Ultimately, today's launch is only a visual refresh with a gold body and a strap that combines metal and glass crystal links.
