MagyarXbox Store: Eight new games are available from today
As of today, the Xbox Store offers eight new games - no AAA titles, but there might still be a treat for some of you among the following games.
Note: At the time of publication of this article, not all games were available. However, this should change in the course of the day.
- Slave Zero X is a brutal 2.5D action game set in the biopunk world of Slave Zero (1999). It is a prequel to the original game, set in the dystopian megacity of S1-9 under the rule of the tyrannical Sovereign Khan. Set five years before the events of the original game, it follows the story of Shou - a vengeful swordsman who fuses with a stolen "slave" prototype. The goal is to end the reign of the Khan.
- Froggie - A Retro Platformer is a minimalist, black-and-white side-scrolling platformer that puts players in the role of a frog as they jump, run or slide through 100 different levels while jumping on enemies' heads, dodging spike traps and more.
- A Time Traveler's Guide To Past Delicacies is a short, experimental game that tells the story of a fictional time traveler who journeys back in time to steal recipes. The game is characterized by its unusual premise and the inclusion of a sock puppet as a guide through the dark expanses of time. Among other things, players can learn new recipes, meet long-dead ancestors and improve their cooking skills by exploiting these encounters - or take photos of dinosaurs.
- ROUNDS is an intense 1v1 rogue-like shooter game. It features increasingly intense rounds where losers of each round unlock clever upgrades to create better builds against their opponents. There are over 11.2 million different power-up combinations to choose from. In addition to local multiplayer, there is also online multiplayer with Twitch-based matchmaking.
- Geometric Sniper Z is a 2D sniper that challenges players to survive in a hand-drawn world full of zombies. The game is played from the perspective of a sniper whose job it is to save the humans and eliminate the zombie threat. Geometric Sniper Z offers a variety of weapons and customization options for the character.
- Tenderfoot Tactics is an open-world tactical RPG in which a group of goblins, given magical powers by an ancient spirit, wander through an archipelago to fight against the terrible fog. The game offers a mix of tactical warfare and open world exploration. Players can manipulate the elements to turn the battlefield to their advantage, but must consider the consequences as nature is complex and capricious.
- ShapeNeon Chaos is an old-school style arcade space shooter. The game aims to give players an adrenaline rush within minutes by throwing them into waves of deadly enemies that must be fought in a vivid neon and bullet hell environment. It is best known for its fast-paced shooting mechanics and psychedelic neon design.
- Balatro is a poker game with a twist, combining elements of a roguelike deckbuilder with poker strategies. The focus is on creating powerful synergies and winning big stakes.
