Xbox Game Pass: Three brand-new games are coming this week
A newly released AAA title priced at $70 joined Game Pass on October 21. This week, three more titles are arriving on Microsoft’s gaming subscription as Day One releases. Here’s a quick overview:
PowerWash Simulator 2 (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) - October 23th
In PowerWash Simulator 2, you return as part of a professional cleaning crew, using high-pressure washers to clean everything from cars to buildings. The gameplay focuses on realistic physics and aims to be relaxing rather than competitive – there are no timers or enemies, just the satisfying process of washing away dirt. Success depends on selecting the right nozzles, detergents and tools for each task. New features include expanded campaigns, six-player co-op and vertical missions that introduce ladders, ropes and lifts. The game joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 23.
Bounty Star (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) - October 23th
Bounty Star is a third-person shooter with survival elements and a strong western flair. Players take on the role of Clementine “Clem” McKinney, a former soldier turned bounty hunter, as she navigates the harsh, post-apocalyptic desert known as the Red Expanse. Life in the wasteland is unforgiving – while building a base, growing crops, and securing water and power, Clem must fend off constant threats from bandits and wild creatures. To survive, she pilots the high-tech Desert Raptor MKII mech, which can be upgraded with a range of weapons and equipment. The current Game Pass announcement doesn’t specify which subscription tiers will include the game.
Super Fantasy Kingdom (Game Preview) (PC) - October 24th
Super Fantasy Kingdom is a roguelite city builder with tower defense mechanics and a charming pixel art style. As the ruler of a fallen kingdom, players must rebuild from the ground up while fending off relentless waves of monsters. During the day, you’ll construct buildings, gather resources and strengthen your defenses. At night, strategically placed units and fortifications are put to the test in battle. True to the roguelike formula, each defeat grants experience and upgrades that make future runs easier. The game joins Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass on October 24.
The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is available on Amazon for around $600.
