The XCY X51 is a mini-PC and an incredibly small one at that. Based on the Intel Celeron N4100, the X51 features 8 GB of RAM, a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD and a host of ports. The 62 x 62 x 42 mm device weighs 121 g and can be purchased for US$179.

Mini PCs are undergoing something of a revival currently. Chuwi recently introduced its LarkBox, which has garnered almost US$1 million in funding on Indiegogo. With Chuwi set to start shipping orders to backers this month, GMK is also planning to bring its miniature PC to the popular crowdfunding platform. If you are not a fan of crowdfunding websites but are on the lookout for a new mini-PC, then the XCY X51 may be a good option.

Unlike the LarkBox or NucBox, the XCY X51 is available to order from AliExpress. The retailer has priced the device at US$179 and estimates that shipping should take 7-15 days. The X51 is based on the Intel Celeron N4100, which is a 6 W quad-core processor. We should point out that the processors inside the LarkBox and NucBox can reach up to 10 W. Additionally, the X51 has a 128 GB SSD connected via an M.2 2242 slot and 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There is also the following ports:

  • 1 x USB Type-C
  • 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A
  • 1 x HDMI 2.0
  • 1 x 3.5mm audio
  • 1 x microSD card reader

The X51 supports Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 5 connectivity and measures 62 x 62 x 42 mm. The machine weighs 121 g too. Overall, the X51 and NucBox look almost identical. Unsurprisingly, the two share the same connectivity, RAM and SSD.
