As we discovered in our review, the Wooting 80HE is, without a doubt, one of the best gaming keyboards on the market right now, but it's undeniably also quite pricey, coming in at a starting price of $199.99 and reaching as high as $367, depending on the options you select. Now, though, Wooting has officially announced its Respawn Store, a new outlet store that offers discounts on some of its most popular products.
The Wooting Respawn Store offers refurbished products, items with minor cosmetic imperfections, and legacy models, all fully functional and available at a discounted price.
You save money, we save storage space, together we reduce waste.
The outlet will sell "refurbished products, items with minor cosmetic imperfections, and legacy models," including accessories, like the 80HE Zinc Alloy Case and after-market Alumaze60 case. These products will be discounted, some by as much as 50%, with the likes of the Wooting 80HE with a white zinc alloy case currently discounted by 20% to $231.99 and a refurbished Wooting 60HE coming in at $122.49, down from the usual price of $174.99.
There is also a 50%-off Wooting 80HE Zinc Alloy case, coming in at $54.99, and a concrete grey Alumaze60 case that's also discounted by 50%, for a total price of $59.99. The refurbished keyboards that are so far available on the Respawn store so far are available in both ISO and ANSI layouts, indicating that there is a reasonable amount of stock available. As with the standard Wooting ISO layout keyboards, the ISO versions don't ship with keycaps, although they are around $7–10 cheaper.
Wooting will also support these products with a two-year PCB warranty, including the LEDs, which is the standard LED warranty but two years less than the four-year warranty typically offered by the keyboard maker. The Respawn Store will also integrate with the regular Wooting store as far as discount codes, combining orders, and value-based shipping discounts.
