Ugreen entered the network storage segment by releasing several products in this segment last year. But Ugreen hasn’t stopped there and is now bringing even more devices onto the market. Therefore, the company unveiled the new iDX6011 Pro at Computex 2025 and provided some details on its various AI features along the way.
The new Ugreen NAS supposedly has enough performance to run AI apps locally, which can be beneficial for data privacy as it minimizes the dependence on cloud services. For instance, Ugreen highlights features such as an advanced help function that can answer questions about the device itself. Furthermore, it should be quite easy to create summaries for recorded meetings, which could certainly save some time. Additionally, so-called smart tags are assigned to content in order to make it easier to organize and find. OCR and AI-powered search serves the same purpose.
The Ugreen iDX6011 Pro NAS is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor with an NPU. It’s paired with 64GB DDR5 RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. The storage device can accommodate up to six SATA drives and two M.2 SSDs. An OCuLink port is available as well, along with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 2.0, a SD card reader and HDMI. The NAS is expected to launch in September 2025 on Kickstarter. Other Ugreen devices in this category, such as the currently discounted DXP2800, can be found on Amazon.
