The OnePlus 8 is now available through the carrier Visible
OnePlus started out as a brand that only sold its phones through its own website. Now, it has grown over a relatively small number of years into a company that attracts partnerships with carriers to stock its Android smartphones in their stores as well. Now, the OEM has extended its reach with another such deal.
Visible is a pay-as-you-go carrier that is owned by Verizon, OnePlus' latest official carrier in the US. However, this may still help with its brand recognition in the same country. Therefore, the carrier now offers the Onyx Black SKU of the OnePlus 8, whereas the OEM sells Interstellar Glow and Glacial Green options on its own site.
Visible's new version of the 8 has 8GB of RAM, whereas there are also 12GB variants available. It starts at US$28 per month with 0% APR, or $672 outright. It joins other new phones such as the Pixel 4a and the Samsung Galaxy S20 series on its new platform. Then again, the 8 Pro (which is not sold through Visible or Verizon) also reportedly works on this network.
