The OPPO Find X3 and X3 Pro are hotly-anticipated smartphones as they are touted to combine the highest-end of Android specs in 2021 with arguably iPhone-like looks. A Weibo tipster has uploaded what looks like an official poster from the OEM that contains their launch date information. Should this leak prove accurate, the event in question might also introduce Lite and Neo variants for the new line.

The next generation of OPPO Find X smartphones is projected to launch with the tagline "Impossible Surface", which might refer to its new, "full-link color management system"-enhanced display tech, which might be paired with QHD+ AMOLED panels in its flagships. Alternatively, the cryptic new term might describe their glossy rear panels, from which a quad-camera housing rises in a smoother manner than in the iPhone 12 series they may resemble.

Now, the leaker Arsenal, normally found on Weibo, claims to have spoiled the OEM's launch announcement for these devices. OPPO had earlier indicated that it might launch the Find X3s in March 2021, but did not get more specific than that. However, the tipster has allegedly found a new, authentic-looking poster with a concrete date.

Accordingly, the company might premiere its latest premium mobile devices on March 11, 2021, at 19:30 (presumably) Beijing time. Therefore, it might find itself slap-bang in the middle of a month rapidly accumulating an itinerary of events for potentially exciting devices, including the ROG Phone 5 and RedMagic 6 series, not to mention the OnePlus 9 series and the Realme GT.

Of these, however, the Find X3 Pro has an excellent chance of proving their leader in terms of performance. It has been painted in various leaks as the Snapdragon 888-powered phone that has gotten the most out of this new silicon to date.

It is currently believed to launch alongside the Find X3, touted to launch with the next tier down in terms of SoCs: the Snapdragon 870. The putative March 11 show might also introduce the X3 Lite (an alleged Reno5 rebrand for international markets) and the X3 Neo (or Reno5 Pro Global Edition, perhaps). Then again, it's now down to OPPO to confirm or deny these details, which will probably happen over the next few days.
