Casio is launching two G-Shock x Katsushika Hokusai collaboration watches in more European countries. These digital watches, with designs inspired by Japanese Edo-period artist Katsushika Hokusai, were released in Japan at the start of 2025.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW5600KHK25-1 watches at its online stores in the Netherlands, Germany and other European countries. In the EU, they will retail for €119, though it is unclear when they will be released. Prospective customers are invited to sign up for the Casio mailing list to receive a launch notification via email. The DW5600KHK25-1 is also expected to be released in the UK for £99.90 in the near future.
The Casio G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 is based on the woodblock print named ‘Fine Wind, Clear Morning’, with an orange Mount Fuji against a blue sky. Meanwhile, the DW5600KHK25-1’s design is based on ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’, with blue waves against a light yellow background. Both frames surround a positive (light background) display, and the watch has a black resin bezel, casing and strap, measuring 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weighing 52 g (~1.8 oz).
These Katsushika Hokusai x G-Shock products are DW-5600 series watches. As such, they feature a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown time, hourly time signals and a multifunctional alarm. There is an LED backlight to help you to read the display in low lighting, with the screen showing the time, date and day of the week. The watch is water resistant to 200 m and should run for around five years on its battery. Casio has yet to announce plans to launch the G-Shock x Katsushika Hokusai DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW-5600KHK25-1 watches in the US.
