Now that AMD is once again producing APUs with iGPUs capable of running games at halfway decent resolutions, it seems as though everyone is getting in on the mini-PC hype. Redragon, the PC peripherals company most popular for its budget mechanical gaming keyboards, mice, and headsets, has also just announced a mini PC.
The Redragon MPC745 competes directly with the likes of the Minisforum UM880 Plus (curr. $518.97 on Amazon) and $649 Geekom A8, which we praised in our review, but it does so at just $499.99, making it a rather competitive little package. That doesn't mean that Redragon hasn't made any sacrifices here, though.

For starters, two of the Redragon MPC745's six USB ports are still USB 2.0. Although this is confusing in 2025, although it might be of some benefit to gamers planning on using high-performance gaming keyboards, like the Wooting 80HE and GMMK 3 Pro HE we reviewed, which can have issues with USB 3.x ports.
Redragon will only ship the MPC745 in one variant, with 16 GB of RAM and an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, which is an 8-core, 16-thread CPU with the venerable AMD Radeon 780M iGPU on-board. Fortunately, however, the mini PC's USB 4 port means that eGPU docks are supported for those looking for higher performance graphics solutions.
The new mini PC will also only be available to buyers in the US and Canada for the time being. It also appears to only be available directly from the Redragon online store, so that may also be a deal-breaker for those looking for easy returns, as is the case on Amazon. That said, Redragon may, at a later stage, sell the mini PC on Amazon, since the brand has an official storefront on Amazon and even sells pre-built gaming PCs there.
