Redmi's gaming phone may have passed 3C testing with Mi 11-grade 67W fast charging
Redmi has affirmed that it will launch its first "gaming phone" in 2021 - perhaps even this month, should the latest rumors prove true. As if to give this idea more weight, a device with its alleged model number is now approved for sale by the Chinese regulator 3C. Its new certificate also suggests it might launch with the same charging tech as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flagship.
An upcoming Redmi phone is rumored to debut with a flat AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. Therefore, it might rival the gaming-focused Realme GT Neo on its arrival - and is also probably intended to as far as its OEM is concerned.
Redmi is thought to have this phone launched by the end of April 2021 at present. Its latest leak might support this theory, as it comes in the form of a certification for the M2104K10AC, which might be the Chinese-market variant of this "gaming phone".
Its new documentation points to a 67W charging rate for this upcoming phone. This technology has also recently been seen in the flagship Mi 11 series: it is the new top rate in both the 11 Pro and super-premium 11 Ultra.
Better yet for Redmi fans, the 3C also includes an MDY-12-EF in the M2104K10AC's registration, suggesting that the phone will launch with the power accessory that goes with the new battery tech. This putative complete package is thought to launch in additional regions such as India and to be priced at about US$300.

This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
