Philips has launched four new TVs with integrated LED light strips. Available in four sizes, the TVs have 4K panels and ship with Roku OS out of the box.

Philips is known for its Hue line of smart lights, which also includes strip lights for TVs. However, if you'd rather not have to go through the hassle of wiring an LED strip to your TV, Philips has you covered with its Ambilight line of smart TVs, which already have an integrated LED strip.

The Philips 7875 Series Ambilight TV is available in 43'', 50'', 55'', and 65'' sizes, all of which ship with Roku OS out of the box. According to Philips, Ambilight's dynamic LED lighting not only improves the experience of whatever content you are watching but also helps reduce eyestrain and fatigue. It does this by softening the contrast between bright visuals and dark surroundings.

Ambilight works with streaming apps, live TV channels, and games. It also works when the TV is displaying artworks and photos via Roku Backdrops. Philips has also revealed that an update that will arrive in Q1 2026 will add support for Ambilight audio mode and standby mode.

With respect to specs, all four TVs have an LED panel with a 4K resolution, 120 PMR (perfect motion rate), and a 178º viewing angle. They also have support for HDR10 and HLG, save for the 43-inch version. Each TV has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, four HDMI ports including eARC/ARC, and a single USB 2.0 port. There's also an Ethernet port, an optical audio port, an audio jack, and an aerial input.

Pricing for the Philips 7875 Series Ambilight TV starts at $229 for the 43'' model, $259 for the 50'' model, $329 for the 55'' model, and $389 for the 65'' model. They can be purchased online and offline only at the Walmart-owned Sam's Club.
