New leak reveals more on OnePlus flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2

The OnePlus 15 is rumored to be the successor to the OnePlus 13, featuring the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. So far, leaks from Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, have shared that this upcoming flagship phone will be more compact than its predecessor.

To be specific, in one of the early reports, the leaker shared that the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch display, which is smaller than the 6.82-inch screen found in the current-gen flagship. This is something that Digital Chat Station has reiterated in the latest report.

In addition, the tipster notes that the display of the OnePlus 15 has a conventional R-angle and a quad-curved design. It's apparently a custom panel from BOE, and it has lower power consumption and is more optimized for color consistency and brightness than the predecessor's screen.

Digital Chat Station also adds that the upcoming OnePlus flagship phone has custom buttons on the side, possibly similar to the 13T. As for the other expected specs, the tipster has hinted that the upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a periscope sensor on the back but without a telephoto macro feature.

It's also expected to see a battery upgrade, with Digital Chat Station hinting at a capacity under 8,000 mAh but over 7,000 mAh (25K Ugreen Nexode 200 W power bank curr. $99.99 on Amazon). To compare, the OnePlus 13 comes with a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 50 W wireless and 100 W wired fast charging.
