The Casio G-Shock Full Metal GM-B2100SD-1C and GMW-B5000D-1C watches are now available to pre-order in Japan. The latter first leaked in March 2025, with more details revealed in May, when the GM-B2100 watch also appeared. Now, Casio has officially launched these two new watches, confirming their specifications and sharing more images.
The GM-B2100SD-1C is a hybrid watch with an analog dial and a small digital display. It has a black watch face with blue, yellow and red accents and a stainless steel casing, bezel and strap. Features include a stopwatch, multiple alarms, a countdown timer and a double LED backlight. This 2100 series watch offers Bluetooth connectivity for more features and settings in the Casio Watches smartphone app. Plus, there is Tough Solar charging, and it is water resistant to 20 ATM.
The GMW-B5000D-1C is a digital watch with a stainless steel casing and strap. This model is radio-controlled (Multiband 6), and users can select up to five world time zones to switch between. Like the GM-B2100 watch, it offers Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a stopwatch, countdown timer and alarms. Here, there is a single white LED backlight, helping you to read the display in low lighting. It also offers Tough Solar charging, a power saving mode and 20 ATM water resistance.
Casio is currently accepting pre-orders for the G-Shock GM-B2100SD-1C and the GMW-B5000D-1C watches in Japan, each priced at ¥84,700 (~$593). Whether or when these products could be released in other countries like the US or the UK is unclear.
