New Anker Prime 160 W charger with smart touch display now official in Europe

Following the US debut, Anker’s new Prime 160 W fast charger is now officially available for purchase in European markets. As for price, the charger is priced at €129, and buyers can now purchase the accessory directly from Anker’s official website and Amazon. Alongside the Prime 160 W charger, Anker’s 3-in-1 wireless magnetic station, the Prime Power Bank (26K, 300 W), and the 14-in-1 Prime docking station are also available in Europe. 

Advertised as an AirPods-size charger, the portable accessory measures 2.56 x 2.05 x 1.38 inches (65 x 52 x 35 mm) and weighs around 220 grams (0.48 lbs). The wall charger is said to offer a maximum power output of 160 W across three USB-C ports. As far as the power allocation is concerned, in three-port mode, the C1, C2, and C3 ports offer the charging output of 100 W, 30 W, and 30 W, respectively. While in single-port mode, the power delivery changes to 140 W for each port. 

On top of that, it ships with a smart touch display, which provides real-time output power information for each port with multiple interfaces and also allows switching in different charging modes. The Prime charger also supports app-based controls via the Anker companion app. Furthermore, you can also switch between two different charging modes. For example, it offers either 100 W, 30 W, and 30 W or 70 W, 70 W, and 20 W power delivery for three devices. You can choose the required power output mode depending on your needs. Plus, the app also offers adjustable screen brightness, a screen sleep timer, and language settings. 

Speaking of technology, the portable charging accessory is equipped with an ActiveShield 4.0 with a three-dimensional temperature monitoring system. Moreover, Anker also shared some claimed results achieved with the charger. According to the company, the charger can charge a MacBook Pro 16 from 0 to 50% in 24 minutes.
