New 13.4-inch ultraportable is extremely affordable with up to 10 hours of battery life

Announced earlier this month, the MSI X370 is now available in the U.S. The laptop comes in at just 3.11 pounds (1.4kg) and only 0.89 inches (2.26cm) thick.

While not as powerful as say the Samsung 9 Series or the recently released Toshiba Tecra R840 and R850, the 13.4-inch MSI X370 still sports a respectable AMD E-350 1.6GHz dual-core APU with integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics. The power efficient processor will allow for up to 10 hours of battery life with its 8-cell battery. Additionally, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, HDMI-out, and a card reader will all come standard. Only 2 USB ports will be available, however, with no USB 3.0 in sight.

The specifications of the X370 are also somewhat similar to another recently released MSI notebook, the 15.6-inch MSI CR650

Fortunately, the ultra-thin MSI laptop is priced only at $599, almost one-third the price of many other thin-and-light laptops. The 13.3-inch Samsung 9, for example, currently costs a hefty $1649. Those looking for a long-lasting and affordable ultraportable should definitely check out the MSI X370 here.
