MSI GT62 6QE and GE72 6QE Apache Pro to launch with new GTX 965M GPUs

As previously reported, Nvidia is preparing to replace the current GTX 965M GPU (N16E-GS) in a few weeks with a new GTX 965M (N16E-GR). The move will result in no name change. MSI has already announced a series of notebooks that will ship with the new GTX 965M.

The 15.6-inch GE62 and 17.3-inch GE72 Apache Pro notebooks will have the option to equip GTX 965M GPUs. The higher-end GTX 970M will still be available for these notebooks. MSI claims a performance increase of up to 15 percent between the old GTX 965M and new GTX 965M.

The two GE models will have FHD panels as standard and will be made available in parts of Europe starting February 2016. Prices start at 1680 Euros and 1700 Euros for the GE62 and GE72, respectively. Two-year warranty is standard, though this may change depending on the region.
