MIL-STD-810H-rated Doogee S98 Pro is now available worldwide
Last week, Doogee launched the S98 Pro rugged Android phone just as promised. Now, the early bird discounts and the "world premiere price" deal that was available for the first five days since release are gone. However, the potential buyers can still take advantage of various special deals depending on the retailer (AliExpress, DoogeeMall, Linio (for Latin America), and others).
The list of specs and features has been under the scope a few times already, so I will only mention the essentials: MediaTek Helio G96, 8/256 GB and support for microSD cards, 6.3-inch LCD with 2,340 X 1,080 pixels, 48 MP + 20 MP Sony IMX350 Night vision camera, 16 MP selfie shooter, professional-grade Thermal imaging by InfiRay, 6,000 mAh battery (33 W fast charging via USB-C and 15 W wireless charging support), Android 12, programmable custom button, and more.
Unlike other rugged handsets (including other models from Doogee, such as the V20), the S98 Pro comes bundled with an additional protective case. A reserve screen protector is also included in the standard retail package. Although it is marketed as an ideal companion for outdoors and professionals who work in touch environments, the Doogee S98 Pro can be successfully used as a heavy-duty phone by virtually any category of users, including gamers (the Helio G96 chipset is surprisingly powerful in most games and non-gaming scenarios, as shown by our soon-to-be-published Doogee S98 hands-on review).
