The Legion 5 (AMD) has Renoir-based processors and an up to 144 hertz (Hz) FHD display. It is now on the OEM's Indian-division webstore, although not in its top Ryzen 7 4800H-powered SKU. It goes for a price translating to ~US$1408, although a coupon brings this price down by about $400.

Lenovo India has announced the introduction of the 15.6-inch Legion 5 (AMD) on its sales platform. This may prove a good addition to the gaming laptop options in this country, even if it doesn't have the highest-end Ryzen silicon available to this machine.

Instead, the Legion 5 has the 5 4600H APU, alongside 4GB of GTX 1650 Ti graphics. They will drive an anti-glare FHD screen with this device's highest 144Hz refresh rate. It also has just 1 8GB RAM/256GB SSD configuration, which also packs a USB 3.2 Gen 1 type C port.

Its release to its new market may be welcomed, although it has also met with dissatisfaction from some fans that there is no Ryzen 7 4800H option. Its extant SKU is priced at INR 103,490 (~US$1,408), although an automatic code (GAMEON) brings this price down to INR 79,990 (~$1,008).

It is available at this price from now, although it is not certain if it will persistent indefinitely.
