Lenovo showed off the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition at CES 2025. At the time, it was available in only one colourway: Silver. The company has now shown off a new Glacial White colour variant. Specs-wise, nothing else has changed, with the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition retaining its original hardware.
The laptop is available in two display configurations: 14-inch (WUXGA OLED, 400 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage, HDR 500 certification) and 15-inch (2.8K OLED, 1,100 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage, HDR 600 certification, 120 Hz variable refresh rate). Interestingly, the 14-inch variant comes with a 55 Wh user-replaceable battery, while the 15-inch version packs a larger 80 Wh, presumably non-user-replaceable battery.
Other specifications include an Intel Core Ultra 7 vPro CPU, 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, an Intel Arc iGPU, an 8 MP webcam with an IR sensor, a 1 TB SSD, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. The 15-inch variant also includes a USB-A port. You can buy the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition in Glacial White in October 2025, starting at €1,619 (14-inch) and €1,759 (15-inch).
