Google unveiled the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P handsets yesterday, as expected. Both devices will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offer USB Type-C connectivity, fingerprint scanner, low-power WiFi scanning, Bluetooth 4.2 with ultra low-power BLE notifications, and more.

The LG-made Nexus 5X will start at $379 USD (16 GB version) and has a 5.2-inch full HD LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and 2 GB of memory, as well as a 12.3 MP rear camera. The larger Nexus 6P is built in partnership with Huawei and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC and 3 GB of memory, a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display, front-facing stereo speakers, and the same 12.3 MP photo snapper on the back. Its price in the US will start at $499 USD.

While the Nexus 5X only comes in 16 GB or 32 GB versions, the larger Nexus 6P starts at 32 GB, with 64 GB and 128 GB also available. Both handsets can be pre-ordered from Google Play in the US, UK, Ireland, and Japan already and should begin shipping in October.
